The company was formed in 2004 by Mr. John Allen, who has over 40 years of experience in the industrial minerals business. APM came about as a response to the growing demand for an enterprising, energetic company to bring mining companies and end users together. APM’s core business is barite of which we source 1 million metric tons per year from China, India, Mexico and Morocco primarily for use in the US oil and gas industry.
